For more than 15 years, I helped health systems, insurers, and physician organizations improve care for millions of patients.
Again and again, I encountered the same challenge: interventions that looked promising on paper often struggled in the real world.
Today, as a health services researcher, I study why that happens and how healthcare delivery can better support older adults and other high-need populations.
